STRYVE: a national initiative to stop youth violence before it starts

STRYVE, or Striving To Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere, is a national initiative to prevent youth violence before it starts among young people ages 10 to 24. A cornerstone of this public health initiative is the STRYVE Web site, www.safeyouth.gov , an online, interactive youth violence prevention resource center. Designed to help your community prevent youth violence before it starts, the site offers an up-to-date set of tools to plan, carry out, and evaluate sustainable youth violence prevention strategies that are based upon the best available evidence.
